Due to having to go into full retirement and the economy when I purchased new tires last year I had to make do with second choice. The ridiculous price differnce between Ribs and BF Goodrich was just too much to bare. The Goodrich seem to be doing a good job.
I would not run the TA's much past 4 years! Ribs you could have run 6 or 7 years without worries. I factor that into my decisions. I ran Ribs for 40k+ miles and 6.5 years. Now on R250's based on cheaper price by about 50 dollars per tire. Both are the best available for 5200 and 6K axles.

The difference was more like $110 a tire. I am happy for that you have deep pockets. I just couldn't justify the extra expense. When I was working and before my wife lost a great job I wouldn't have thought twice and would have put on Michelins. By the way we have Michelins on both our trucks. The one on my wife's are weather checked in less than 5 years. Don't think I would run em on my trailer 6 or7 years!
