Your money, your time, your possible claim on your insurance policy. I stick with GY for RV tires.
NEVER a problem.
You have to realize you are paying for those tires to actually be insured at the price they are asking for G614. Back in 2010 I purchased a set of G614's, and they were pretty reasonably priced, today the price is getting outrageous .
Have had zero issues with the G614, but when time comes to buy new ones I will buy the Sailun , good reports, and yes it is my money, and time. Rather a mute point you are making on goodyear paying for repairs if neither tire has a problem, and why give almost twice for a G614 when the same quality of tire is out there for less money. Like many of said I see no reason to buy two insurance polices for tire damage.
Turn in a tire claim that caused damages your rates may not go up. Now with that claim and lets say another let's see what happens.
I have ran two sets of GY G's since 07, 5 years on each set with zero problems that means a lot to me. I also get a good return after 5 years on the used set.
