Little more information. Load range E. LT's Weight rating is 2680 # per tire. Always possible that I hit something but if so, did not see or hear anything. Correction on date of tire. It is 4210 and not 2610. Tires have been kept cover when not traveling and show absolutely no crack, crazing or any evidence of age. Tires exceed axle ratings and, as I said, total combined weight on axles is 8960. Combined weight is under tire capacity by a good margin but until I do individual axle weights I don't know actual weight per axle. Camper is fully loaded for a trip with all tanks empty and approx. 10 gallons of fresh water
What surprises me is the separation of the carcass. See first post picture 5 where my thumb is holding it open. Looks like someone cut it perfectly straight across with a knife. Tread looks like it was a thrown recap. Tires have never run hot according to the TPMS. Although the TPMS does not give an exact temp. it has never exceeded more than 14 deg. above ambient. Temps. spread across all 4 tires are pretty even. Little damage to 5er. Aluminum skirt bulged 1 1/2" but I pushed back in enough to allow me to travel. A few screws will fix that permanently. Aluminum rod that accordion is attached to was ripped off and guides for electrical wiring broken. A couple of screw holes ripped out. Minor scuffing of the underside of the 5er. where the tire hit. All minor.

These have been exceptional tires. Never an issue and hold air very well. These BFG's replaced Canadian made Marathons that I had 2 failures with. They were replaced with, at that time, highly rated Denman's that I had 1 failure on the road and another one with visible broken belt.
I will contact Goodrich. Local dealer when I had recalled tires on the truck was not helpful because I didn't buy from him. These T/A's were bought while traveling after the Denman failures.
