Because your trailer was equipped with ST235/80R16E tires I seriously doubt the GAWRs listed on the trailer’s certification label are much more than 6750# each (dual axles). Trailer manufacturers are allowed to reduce the axle manufacturer’s certification. Not all ST235/80R16E tires are qualified for actual 7000# axle fitments.
None of the LT designed tires, LRE and below, qualify for fitments on your axles.
The ST options that qualify are all ST235/80R16 LRG - ST235/85R16 LRE & LRF.
The most common LT tire designed for “ trailer service only” is the LT235/85R16G. Most are steel cased and many of them are made in China. They are rated at 3750# at 110 PSI and require a minimum rim width of 6.5”. The best valve stems will be all steel.
The newly designed ST235/80R16G is rated at 4080# and all that I have actually seen have a 75 MPH speed letter on them.

The manufacturer’s hitch weight is subtracted from the trailer’s GVWR and divided by the number of axles to determine each GAWR.
