Tire pressure and temps while towing

I was curious to know if any of you have the TPMS sensors on their trailer tires and what you have your warnings set at. Without getting into the debate of the ST/LT tire thing, I would like to know what your operating tire pressures and temps are when pulling loaded in summer months. Just looking for trailer tire info not TV. Currently I'm running the Maxxis 235/80/R16s so anyone with that tire/wheel setup would be great.

The Newmar runs Michelins 22.5" X 10" that have a max pressure of 120 PSI. we set the warning at 115 PSI. the Toad has a max pressure of 80, we only run 45. so we set the pressure warning at 45.

You really must run the TPMS for the day you are traveling and find the optimum pressure that will not over heat the tires, yet not so high that any heat will over pressurize the ties.

WE found that 97 PSI cold will result in 105 PSI at running temps, it requires about 1 hour to come up to temp on a 80 degree day. The Toad never varies, set at 45 it stays at 45.

Run your system see what it does, experiment with the pressure.
