Tire replacement on Voltage 3200
Greetings all,
I have one tire on my Voltage 3200 that needs to be replaced ASAP.... like within four days from now, as I am leaving for CO. I am pretty astute regarding tire maintenance and inflation. I returned from a trip this weekend and was doing tire inspection tonight and happen to notice that my left rear tire has tread separation and some of the cords are showing, (I guess I got lucky here!) These are the original cheapo factory tires which are about 3 years old now. So I am going to replace all four tires, So my question is specific to voltage owners has anyone upgraded to a better tire keeping factory rims and will a LT tire work? or should I stay with the ST 235/80/R16 load range (E) I was thinking of an LT 245/75/16 tire but my concern is on the 3200 do I have enough clearance in the fender wells? I am not sure how much bigger an LT 245/75/16 is compared to ST 235/80/16. I am keeping my rims so new rims is not an option right now. Any suggestions??
Thanks in advance,
