Tires: Changing From D To E
I'm wanting to order a new set of tires this weekend. I'm new to trailers and need some advice.
My camper has a GVWR of 10,000 and D rated tires will cover this but after reading about all the blowouts I'm just a little nervous. I'm considering going to E rated tires and I'm sure that it will make the camper ride rougher but how much rougher. The E rated tires won't cost much more and I'm going to buy a quality tire that has a good reputation.
I've read about a lot of you that have upgraded but haven't read anything about the difference in the ride. Is there a lot of difference, not much difference in the ride and would you upgrade to a heavier tire again?
Thanks,
Danny
