Anyone like Hartland tires for fifth wheel? I have to chose between those or Carlisle. Thinking Hartland.

What are you putting them on GVWR??
  • All ST tires are rated to a top speed of 65 mph(without regard as to the manufacturer). If I were you I would find a tire store with a better selection of tires. One good tip is to check date codes on tires you buy. I replace my tires at the 5 year mark. A lot of tire dealers may have stock that is over a year old when they sell it to you. I will not accept a new tire that is more than 6 months old.
  • Discount tire only sells the two brands and say Hartland are better, I have read many bad reviews about Carlisle, Because the tires are made to go 65 mph sometimes I like to go a tad fast...maybe 75. They say they blow because of speed.. Heck I might have to hold out and investigate more...
  • I have been using Maxxis st tires for 12 years never had a problem. Every Carlisle tire I have ever owned has been defective.
  • Have you ever heard of them? I haven't. Just another Chinese piece of junk. You have plenty of choices. Just look online and order some. Maxxis,Goodyear G614, (NOT Goodyear Marathons). Just order them up and have them shipped to you and then installed locally. Thousands of folks have done this..

    B.O.
  • Probably better think Carlisle, if you're talking about the Radial Trail RH. Many satisfied users, here and on other forums. Never heard of the others.
