Ron, looks like Chris recommended the GY Endurance which is an ST tire.

A 12500 gvwr trailer can have a 2500 lb pin weight = 10000 lbs on the axles......or 2500 lbs per tire.
Now ad a good 15 percent reserve capacity and your trailer may need a tire with around 2800 lbs.

The market is wide open in the LT235/85-16 E at 3042 lbs capacity.
At the top of the chain is the commercial class all steel ply carcass tire;
Bridgestone R-250
Michelin XPS Ribs.

Next down is the poly tire carcass in the same LT size;

ST tires ?? The only ST E tires I've seen on rv and non rv trailering forums with no complaints is the Provider ST tire.

You sure don't need a ST load G tire 14 ply rated at 4080 lbs capacity on that size trailer that may have 5.2k or light loaded 6k axles.

I am looking that the Endurance also. Maybe Goodyear will make a good mark and RVers will be able to find a good tire without looking at a bunch of junk. Good tire + American = winner. The other tire companies could follow suit.

Last year we had to replace 2 of our original tires on a single trip. I purchased 2 Goodyear Marathon ST tires. I need to purchase two more now to get rid of the junk tires that came with the trailer (purchased 2 years ago). I have been reading about the Endurance and have a stupid question. Since this is just being towed, can I put 2 different tires on? If so, is there a better placement? I.E. both Endurance on the front axle, both Marathon on the rear?

Well your GVWR is only 140# more than mine, just replaced Tacoma LT 235/85-16E that were 12 years old, with a new set of Yokohama YK-HTX's.
The new Yokohama's are LT235/85-16E same 3,042# weight rating as previous, less than 10,000# on the axles.

Yes, give the new Goodyear Endurance trailer tire a try. If they have a problem GY is REALLY going to stand behind them and take care of you and your trailer. Chris

If those are the OEM tires it's time to retire them and be glad they served so well, others have not been so lucky.

You conceivably could run a 16" "E" rated LT tire and be within load weights. Sailun are excellent tires and what I have on my toyhauler, but may be a bit overkill on your trailer. It kind of depends on what the rating of your axles too.
