The fuel economy gauge in my Ford is not even close to accurate. I've had three Ford 6.7s. The 2011 was exactly accurate. The 2016 was consistently ready high by 7%. That is it consistently told me I was burning more fuel than I actually was. The 2017 tells me I'm getting up to 10% better mileage than I actually am able to get. Hopefully yours is telling you your burning more fuel than you actually burn. The old model Ford displayed liters used ... the 2017 only display liters per 100 or mpg so you have to actually do some math to realize how inaccurate the dic is.
