Good ones like Maxxis are not made in China. Most on these forums seem to prefer switching to LT truck tires. They will be different sizes than ST trailer tires. You find the one thats the closest or if you have the room perhaps a larger tire.
I changed from Chinese made Master Track 235/80R16's to Michelin XPS Rib LT245/75R16's. Just slightly different in size. Expensive but worth it. If you wish to stay with ST tires then go with Maxxis.
