Tow Tuff Chocks

Does anyone have any experience with the Tow Tuff chocks, TTF-01TWC? The lever action seems like it might make using them easier than ratchet style chocks.
  • I have a pair of these I bought on Amazon, but maybe a different brand. Once adjusted for the space between your tires, they work fine and are easy to install. I think they help stabilize the rig a little.

Here is the instructions for Home made wheel chocks.

When i made mine, instead of using all-thread I bought a 4' piece of 1/2" black iron pipe that was threaded on both ends. I drilled 1" holes in the center of the 4X4, cut the iron pipe in half, then used Wood Workers Pipe Clamps to hold the pipe to the wood chocks. Also, on the thread end of the pipe clamp I drilled a hole in the flat section and used a stainless screw to hold it to the wood.

  • I was referring to the home made version...

I think he was referring to the chocks in the OP.
