Tuff chucking issue

A friend is having an issue with his new truck and camper. The truck and camer are brand new. Sometimes on the level and normally when pull up hill, there's is a jerking.
Tach is steady, service tech found now issue with truck.

It kind of fells like chucking but up a hill?

The trailer is pretty level when hooked to the truck. The truck is a new Chevy 2500 gas. The trailer is a Cougar don't know the size but it's a 10000 lb Rig. Curt hitch.

It feels like the trailer brakes are pulsing on and off lightly. I tried turning off the traction control thinking it might be sensing sway and pumping the brakes. Didn't seem to help.
I watched the hitch while the rig was jerking but couldn't see any re is quite a bit of play when the rig stops and restarts.

I did hook up to this trailer with my 2012 Chevy Duramax and it pulled smoothly.

Any thoughts?
