While I tend to agree that most 1/2 ton trucks are not suited for FW towing, the right 1/2 ton, PROPERLY CONFIGURED, is well suited for light fifth wheels. .............
My sticker rates my rear axle at 6100lbs. I have 18" OEM tires rated at 3640lbs each.
