Towing Cyclone 4100 King

I’m picking up my Cyclone 4100 King Friday. 2 of my buddies told me I will not have any problem pulling it. I have a 2011 Ram 2500 4x4 diesel. A guy I work with pulls his 40’ Raptor with his 2007 Chevy 2500 with no problem. I will be pulling in Louisiana and may do the Disney World thing I’m sure. Did I over load my truc for my first camper?

  • It can be done, see lots that size being pulled by F250 size trucks at just about every campground we go to. It's hard on the truck though. Personally I wouldn't do it. Just drive sensible.

A guy that was going to buy my TH had a F250 but I talked him out of buying it.
  • Yes, you will be significantly overloaded.
    I wouldn't do it!
  • You will be over all of the tow ratings of your truck.
Will the truck do it? Sure.
Will it do it safely? Maybe.
Just cause your buddies do it, does it make it right? Nope.
  • Many will chime in on this one. I dont have that unit but did see one in person yesterday and congratulations are in order it is a very nice unit. On the weight issue though you are nuts to try to safely pull that thing with your truck. Well I should say try to stop that thing with your truck. My local Camping World sold one a month ago and the guy showed up with the same truck as you and they wouldn't let him hook it up. To each is own but my 2 cents is dont do it.
