I chose my XLR for my RV as their axles slightly forward of other brands making for a lower pin weight. (I wasn't sure I wanted to go DRW right away...) As per the cat scale I'm only 2850# on the pin with my garage empty. My drive axle is right at 3550# with my hitch in and a full tank of fuel, so I'm under on my axle and tire weights. I'm also under on my truck's GVWR by a little under 500#. If I put 2k in the garage my pin drops to around 2600#.
Yes, my RV is tri-axle, triple slide, measuring 44'5' long. She's a monster but extremely well mannered on the road. The Tuson sway control option helps in that dept. too.
