The hills are no problem. I have the same motor/trans that a 450 would and there is so much torque with the 6.7 that my shallow 3.55 gears are OK. My payload sticker says 3568 but that is high. The only way to get your real number is to load your truck ready for travel, weigh it, and subtract that number from your GVWR. It leaves me with about 3k for pin weight and I'm under that.
