I didn't get price on the A/C system yet. I decided to stop spending on my rig until I know for sure were keeping it around.....
No filters in in the system. The only twisted leads were for the BMK and those were supplied. I do notice some interference on the 6 Meter band in the truck while pulling the 5er and wondered if it was the charge controller causing it....I don't really do 6M mobile very often, so I have never tracked it down.
Something else you might want to think about if you are planning to play with radios......All of my coax and control cables for the screwdriver and uhf/vhf antennas were run in the garage wall while it was apart being reinforced. You might want to do some of that too depending on what you budget and intentions are for the HAM hobby.
