I use a fairly inexpensive hammer crimp tool and have had great results.
Just to add, I've crimped numerous 4/0 connectors with this tool.
Nice, those batteries look like Trojans, what series are they?
They're T 105's. I have another bank of two on the other side for a total of six 6 volt batteries.
