I would only consider a separate garage if I was in the market for a larger hauler. 12ft minimum on garage. On smaller haulers your pretty much limited to 10ft which would be useless for me. Even at 12ft I would be loosing a lot of storage capacity compared to what I have now. Separate garage works for some but is not for everyone. As with everything there are tradeoffs either way.
