I tried to use Discount tire when I replaced my ST 235/80 R16's on my 5th wheel. They refused to install LT tires rated at 3,040 lbs on a 5th wheel that originally had ST tires rated at 3500 lbs installed at the RV factory even though I had 6,000 lb axles. According to them it is against the law(at least agaisnt coprprate policy) to install lower weight rated tires on a 5th wheel than what was installed OEM.
I used to be a big fan of Les Schwaub Tire stores. IMHO their tire quality has gone down considerably since Les died. Locally their service is still pretty good but I can no oonger handle their quality.
