Yup and they perform well at that speed!
This is a reason I wish I already had 16" wheels. I know people on this forum squawk about anybody going over 65. I didn't realize my ST tires had a max speed of 65 and I've had them upwards of 70-75. Our freeway speed here in Utah is 80 in the rural parts of the state and many of those roads are flat and straight for 10+ miles.
I've got to retrain my brain to be ok at 65 and ok with slowing traffic as people try to get around me.
The speed limit for trailers in Utah is 65mph. There has already been numerous complaints about people ignoring the 80mph speed and going in excess of 90mph. Did you see the reporting on channel 4 documenting this? The thing is people go 100mph with a mini-van full of kids----outright stupid! - kohaiExplorer

just so you know the GY 614 is an ST tire and the Sailun is a trailer only tire in the 16" size.
In fact, the G614 RST is an LT235/85R16 tire for trailer use only.

Goodyear says the G614 RST has nothing to do with a ST (special trailer) tire. Its a LT tire made for the regional service trailer industry

Thank you for contacting our web site. RST for "Regional Service Trailer" is the correct term for the LT235/85-16 G614 RST tire.

Like the G614 the S637 has tire has nothing to do with a ST tire. - marspecExplorerBut the G614 is rated for 75mph.

To Chris:
I used the 16" E Radial Trail on my last 2 trailers(same set). While not heavy it weighed 11k+ and I had no problems in 10k mi. I will probably put them on my new one which will put a load on them, no scaled weight yet but guessing at 13.5-14k. Shipping was 12.8k.
Two 7K axles and ST tires, good luck with that! I would be looking at GY G614's or Sailun S637 if it was mine. But hey you can keep us informed on how it is working over the next few years. I would at least get the LRF ones and only tow at 60 MPH like CKNSLS. But TH guys tend to be weekend warriors and always in a hurry. Chris

Someone will come along and tell you what the ST stands for on the GY G tire. They are nothing at all like regular ST tires if that is what you are suggesting.

Anything over 12,000 pounds they should look at your recommendations.
However, I still maintain no one has any business pulling much over65mph IMHO.
Trailers with 5,200 and 6K axles have many good choices in LT tires that will provide 6+ years of service and give the users a greater sense of security. So why choose a compromise tire.
So I put your Radial Trail RH as a logical choice for small light trailers like yours with 14 and 15" rims. All others have much better choices. Some of these choices are not cheap, however towing on quality tires is well worth the price of administration. Chris
Buy quality tires and you too can post pics like I did above. ;)
