You'll also save weight, by not carrying a lot of fuel.
We had a similar problem with a 2006 Elite Suite that we pulled with a 2005 Silverado. Once we pulled out the huge rear sofa bed and swapped it for a Euro Recliner, it gave us more floor space as well as made us lighter weight.
