I agree with getting rid of weight, but like everybody else you won't be able to tell the difference. Every year I go through the underbelly and remove what I know I won't use. However: last year I installed Onan generator in the front which added a lot of weight. However in towing I can't tell I added the generator. Nothing wrong with upgrading the interior but you won't realize the difference. However go for the upgrades, you will enjoy the changes.
