Truck Dually Wheels
After looking at one ton trucks with dually wheels, I prefer the one ton trucks with single rear wheels. What would I be giving up not getting the dually wheels?

I think the difference in tire rating of DRW and SRW of the same tire is being misunderstood. A 17 “ E rated on a SRW is 3195lb and same tire on a DRW is 2910lb. 2*3195=6390, 4* 2910=11640 DRW are 5250lb over SRW.
Why the different rating, well not all tires are inflated exactly the same, so one tire can carry a little more of the load. Also on a road with a crown a dually can be on just two tires at times.
But as was mention before for the little more money you get so much more, Dana 80 rear end, upgrade in brakes, cooling, suspension and trans. And one solid towing platform.
