TT to Fifth Wheel

Hook-up and un-hooking are a breeze with a fiver. The 400+ sq ft. of room inside is wonderful too. The only drawback is the 13+ roof height. You have to be REALLY careful with low bridges and low hanging limbs.

Everything he said!!!! No regrets....well actually one small one...wish I would have done it sooner.

Have had two Puma fivers now (had two Terry TTs before) also went to a fiver car trailer (not a gooseneck) over my bumper hitch....... Only regret should have done it sooner...... would never go back to a TT. Fifth wheels hitch easier, tow better, turn sharper. As mentioned loose some bed space when camping, but I take the hitch out when not towing & need the space.

I will quit RVing before going back to a TT. Craig

Several factors I like better with a 5er: ZERO sway even when a semi blows by, ceiling height, time it takes to hitch up, & I like going "upstairs" to go to bed...just like home:p

I promise you will wish you had done it sooner. No comparison towing.

This is our first 5th.Wheel from Travel Trailers and we are happy with the change. I love how it handles and the stability it seems to have over the TT. Just like with a TT, do not cut yourself short when purchasing a good 5th. Wheel Hitch. I was sort of taken back at first with backing it :R . I had it in my mind that it would much easier to back a 5th Wheel but for me it was not easier. I had to get some practice in but I think I have about got it down now. :) also be aware of the extra height.

The steps are a little rougher for people our age but we like it better.

@ B.O....steps is what I think about as I get older, I think that might be my biggest issue. Husband says I worry too much!
