Type of Converter in 2017 Jayco Seismic Wave 310W

Looking at purchasing a new Wave 310W and was wondering what type of Converter Jayco is using in them. I would like to put AGM batteries in it but I'm told that those batteries require a different Converter than a standard Deep Cycle Marine/RV battery. Not sure if that's correct or not. Thanks for any info on this subject.
  • You'll probably be best to call the factory or let a dealer call, the reality is that parts can change any time. So unless somebody just bought one the same time yours was built its a gamble if its the same one. The good news is that it's one of their higher end units so a better chance of being a quality converter. But my gut says you're going to be replacing it, make it part of the deal with the dealer.

I have A Seismic and use AGM Blue tops (6), no problems with convertor. Did have a lot of problems with transfer switch. Blew 4 four of them, have it isolated to Onan Gennie over voltage issue now.
I put 480 watts of solar on roof also, cut gennie use way down
