We had the same problem- had to buy a truck but didn't know what trailer we'd be towing. As fate would have it, we found a good deal on a beastly F350 that might have been overkill, but it left us free to shop *all* 5th Wheels and not worry about weight. We can also easily trade up in the future, at least this was the thinking at the time. As is, we scored an old Prowler for a price that was just criminal, but it's all steel and wood and dang heavy, so good thing we had the towing capacity.
