Otherwise, you get what he thinks will work. I was the first to put one in a '13 F150. With the benefit of the drawing I gave him, it fit very well in the truck. I'm working now to put it into a 6x14 trailer to haul 4 dirt bikes to Colorado. I had to add some holes in the crossbar to adapt the spacing from the truck to the trailer.

Thanks for the tip! I would have assumed that there were multiple holes on the cross bar so you can change up the configurations. I will close out my online order and give them a call tomorrow.

I love the looks of the PitBull system, but that could get expensive for three bikes. On the other hand it sure would make securing the bikes a 2-minute operation. I used a couple of Condor chocks and an aluminum plate that is secured by the factory D-rings:


It works great with no additional holes in the floor. I stole the idea from another poster on here.

My original plan was to use 3 Pitbull Trailer Restraints but after looking around the forum a bit I have also come across the Beast Rack System which just uses the existing tie down points in the trailer vs installing a new plate like the Pitbull system.

I have pulled out the fact ones so I use Etrack through bolted to the cross mebers.

Take a picture of your garage with tie-downs and post it with an explanation of what you want to do. You may find someone has some imaginative ideas on how to do what you want without too much work.

I was afraid I was going to have to do what you're looking at, but found some ideas on this forum that worked so well I didn't have to mess with anything.

One thing. Get a beer and sit and look at the garage. In ours I was able to creatively use Ancra straps, and a few carabeaners, to tie down both our toys front and rear using factory floor rings. Once I figured it out, it was simple. Maybe you will get lucky also.
