Ahhhh... they support an entire building because they are filled with concrete are a essentially "solid" concrete...not hollow blocks.
Putting four down with the holes pointed up and having a 4x4 stretched across them, should be more than adequate to handle the weight of your 5er. But as others said, that's a lot of extra weight to haul around. I think I would go with the plastic blocks myself.
