Voltage paint scheme

A few days ago while at Fort Wilderness, Florida, we saw a Voltage toyhauler pulling in. The full paint was head turning. Colors were really vibrant. We know, it does not add livability, or comfort, but sure was pretty to look at. Congratulations to the owner. We will certainly consider a full painting option on our next 5th wheeler.

It is a nice option, but not cheap. It was a $5K option for our tt. That's a lot of camping fees (or beer :B)

So if one doesn't drink beer or camp at regular campgrounds....$5K wouldn't be that bad, right?
  • totally onboard; the full body paint looks amazing

here's a downside we stumbled upon

our old rig (in sig) has the truck/trailer matched with the trailer graphics on the truck

as we are figuring out the new rig color of the exterior is quite a ways down the list in regards to the 'stuff' we want (but we both really like the full paint)

wife picks out her favorite floor plan; we pick the options we want, then we get to the exterior color choices. truck can be matched to any decal/paint scheme if the base is white; less do if the base isn't white

end result; we went with the exterior colors we liked the best but they don't match the truck at all; kind of a bummer

truck is at the paint place now figuring out options
  • We were at a KOA there in Orlando... If it was our Voltage thank you very much.... As for cooling it... not a problem with three A/C's.
  • In the hot Oklahoma sun, I'll take my stock white paint any day. I see those dark, full paint rigs and just cringe at how hot that would get in the sun here. They look spectacular, and the owners should be proud, but I am just a "function over form" kind of guy.
