I'd like to hear more about your experiences with the VRV when you return. Apparently, these 26FB's are not all over the place and just being able to see one in person is a challenge.
Let's talk when you return.
Have a safe trip.
I returned back to my homebase late yesterday in some of the worst driving conditions I have ever driven. Monsoon type rains for 70% of the 1000 miles on I-95. There was a dramatic improvement in how my VRV towed since I loaded as mentioned earlier. In fact, it was hard to believe it was the same trailer. I never put the WD bars on, I only used the one sway bar. Rock steady, even in cross winds. Truck pulled it much better too and I was able to even use sixth gear on flat areas which I couldn't do on the way down to Daytona. Even at 70 mph I was surprised how stable the trailer was. I figure I have about 600 pounds or tongue weight now. Being a front bedroom, I think its pretty much imposable to add a tremendous amount of weight on the hitch. No you do not need a WD hitch with this trailer and it just further proves to me what the idiot dealer is that I had to deal with.
