So I guess that you will have to experiment with the placement of your toys. With bikes over the axle, I guess the tongue weight will be fairly neutral. Since I may have anywhere from 3 to 6 street bikes packed in tight, I will have to see what is an optimal setup, with the lighter bikes behind the axle.
I plan on putting an Prosine 2.0Kw inverter setup in the external storage bunk and will have to consider battery weight. A fat juicy single 12v/400+Ah battery weighs over 300lbs. So I guess that I shouldn't locate it in the area of the forward storage compartment where I had initially planned. Maybe it should be installed in the side entry of the compartment, to the rear?
I also have a truck body builder friend that said he can adapt the Reese sway control/leveling setup to the aluminum without compromising the aluminum chassis. I was told not to drill through chassis.
