Yes, I figure that little scale will be the key to happiness really. I'm so close on my tolerances, that I really need to know exactly where I stand. I still need to put 350 miles on my new truck and then I can tow with it. I can't wait to see how she tows with the new truck, Harley loaded in the VRV, and proper placement of all cargo to make the TW work. I'm thinking I'll need to ultimately be around 700#'s TW in the end.
Personally I think your going to be just fine with your new truck, I've towed way more then that when I had 1/2 ton trucks. Just keep an eye on your TW and all will be good.
Hope you're right about being fine with the F150. I think I will be too. 4 years ago I bought 33' Tow Hauler. That's where I came up with my screen name which was the make and model. It was a much larger toy hauler. I never weighed it, and only used it once. I towed it with a F150 with pretty good success, so I should be okay with this one which weighs probably 3k less fully loaded.
I'm up to 800 miles on the new truck, so I'll be able to tow with her this weekend as I'll be over the recommended 1k miles. I'll let you all know how it goes.
