You fail to realize the pay for warranty work is inadequate. In many cases getting paid takes a long time or the dealership does not get paid at all.
Dealerships simply do not want to gamble or mess with warranty work for units they didn't sell simply because they may not get paid.
They feel no obligation to out of town buyers simply because those buyers drove past their dealerships to purchase an RV and see no reason why those same buyers would no do so again in the future.
