Warranty

Well I'm on the final days on paper work for the new Fuzion 369. They are offering the warranty but I wanted too know if anyone knows how good Campers Edge is? Any info would be great.
  • 3k.... but it's all kinds of warranty, from tires on trailer to tow rig, some type of protection on interior and exterior also.

If everything works for the first year or two (which is usually part of an "included" warranty), you should be fine.

We never got one, and any issues with my camper (very few) I fixed myself. We had one water leakage / delamination situation, that was repaired under insurance I had on the camper at the time.
  • dealer gets a huge chunk of that 3k. IF you gotta have it barter it down to $1,500.
  • Don't waste your money with a high priced warranty from an unknown provider. You will be sorry. You will get a lot of pressure from the dealer to buy it, because they make tons of money off these "warranties." Probably more than on the sale of the camper itself!
  • Take the money they want and put it in a special interest bank account and add to that account on a regular basis and you will have more than enough to be your own warranty company. There is a bunch of fine print on those purchased warranties and the company will find some way to not cover some of or all of what breaks on your rig. We have done this ever since our first purchase 15 years ago and have more money available for any of the problems we have had, including a new set of tires on each of the rigs we have owned. No out of pocket expenses yet.

Yeah that's what I was thinking. The last time I did get it they didn't want to cover anything at all. Plus anytime you do have a issue it's when the warranty has ran out anyways.
