Not true. Read how it works. It heats the clothes causing the water to turn to vapor, then uses cold water to condense the vapor back to water, then drains that water (the cold plus the condensed) down the drain. It does not go into the RV. But it does use a lot of water.
From Splendide web site about their ventless washer/dryer:
The WDC7100XC's condenser dryer system requires 2.5 gallons of water per hour during the dry cycle. This is a sealed system that will not add heat or humidity to the surrounding area.
