- Executive45Explorer IIII wash a load before bed while watching TV. After that I go to sleep and let the dryer do it's thing. Clothes are dry when I get up in the morning.....Dennis
- Getup_ngoExplorerI don't know about estimating times. But I will take many items -- such as shirts & such -- out to air-dry on hangars. I'll pull sheets out after a 30-minutes dry and drape those around to air-dry too (many fewer wrinkles that way).

I'm retired. Total time doesn't bother me in the least. Put 'em in in and take them out when done. Easy! - supercubExplorerTotal time to wash and dry a load with maximum drying time selected is about 4 hours.
- chester490ExplorerI love my washer/dryer. However, it does take a long time to dry clothes. So, I installed a retractable clothes line that I can stretch across the bedroom. A lot of the time I just wash my clothes and then hang them on the line. I let the fan blow on them and they are dry in a jiffy.

DW says wash about an hour dry depends on the fabric 2-3 hours. I do have to clean the exhaust vent, it tends to collect lint and reduce air flow. I use a flexible hose connected to DW's vacuum, I lift one of the vent flaps and snake it down.
Here is a lint cleaning procedure provided to me by Westland Sales a few years back. A lot of that lint you are vacuuming out will just blow out. This procedure also cleans out internal lint. The reason for the high water level requirement is to get this internal lint wet as it is in a pipe on the back of the drum. I do this every few weeks/months depending on normal usage.
1. Start the unit without clothes and with the dry time off on cycle # 11. When the water stops entering the unit push and hold the start button until all the lights come on then release the button. *NOTE: If the water is not at least half way up the glass repeat this step.
2. Move the cycle knob to cycle # 2 push the extra rinse button then press the start button once (do not hold) then let it run through that complete cycle. - 2chiefsRusExplorerwasher on setting 7 for perm press takes about 40 minutes. Can wash king sheets top & bottom together and then takes about 40 minutes to dry the bottom sheet while the top sheet is draped over the shower. When bottom is dry, pop the top sheet in for about 25 minutes in the dryer.
When washing the two bath towels, two hand towels together, takes about 1:45 to dry. Towels are the only thing that allow to run directly from the washer cycle into the dryer cycle without fluffing and splitting up the load. - stickdogExplorerDW says wash about an hour dry depends on the fabric 2-3 hours.
