Yes...and the tank does flex as it gains weight and I'd bet it bulges as it gains pressure until it spurts out the water in the vent line that is essentially blocking it. I can hear when the vent goes under water when I'm filling if its quiet. I'm thinking that is going to be my new full level vs when water flows out the overflow (which is well after the spurt from the vent line clearing). The latter has likely contributed to my problem.
