The Ram, I forgot to add, is a 2500.

The RAM maybe a 2500 but it is a 2015 2500..........way different vehicle with truck GVWR, Axle ratings and payload then my 2007 3500.
Probably towing at MAX

The F150....I wouldn't tow a utility trailer/17' boat etc. with 'P' tires.

Not knowing their real world weights and ratings = can't comment... but then again the nfl did convict and punish Brady based on suspicion alone... so they are both dangers to the world!

If the RAM is 2500 is well over the payload because of the coil spring rear suspension on new 2500.
The Ford is also over its limits.
I wouldn't drive either one.

Nope, F350 super Duty CC, LB, Dually... Horrendous vehicle. Drove lots of duallies and they are all generally unpleasant in the twisties.

Currently I am having our local ford dealer work up a price on a SuperCrew 2.7 eb with Max tow and Max payload. Should be a much better DD and a competent TV.

The 2500 likely had bags also, but what tires did it have?

The F150 looks to be a Max/Max as if you look close it appears to have 7 lug wheels. I just want to know how you know the tires are P rated and not LT?

To each their own as long as long as they don't cause me any harm. I would not run either.

P tires on the Ford as I looked at them. Didn't get the size but it did have 6 lug rims. Did not look at the 2500 tires.

I drive a DRW for at least 1 to 2 hours every day to and from work, plus all of our trips, etc. Living in the mountains I'm well familiar with switchbacks and winding roads.

It doesn't handle sloppy, nor does it corner like a monster. It's one of the most pleasant vehicles I have driven.

Does everyone towing need one? No. But if you want to tow and carry bigger loads, give yourself more stability in doing so, and give yourself a safety margin if you have a flat or blowout, then a DRW is for you.
