The GVWR of the 07' 2500 is 9200#, I did tow a Coachmen Somerset which had a GVW of 14,000# with an 03' 2500 short bed/extended cab D/A for a short time, 5er's pin weight was a little over 2700#. I tow in the mountains, and could "feel" on occasion I was probably pushing the envelope of what the truck could handle...Ended up at that time going to a 3500 dually, (only because I "figured" I might go heavier later on...and I did:), saved a little money in the long run).
As others have stated, believe you'd be pushing it trying to tow that 5er with the truck you have now...
