Nope, NC you won first.
I have never said anthing about 11,000 pound 5er, the OP's is 9,000 lb dry, it is your assumption that it would be 11,000 ready to camp.
Please win gracefully and don't make up things you think I said.
My bad...I followed someone who stated that the 5er was 9,000# and loaded would be close to 11,000,( not my assumption at all...reading comprehension?) and then "I thought" you stated your truck could tow it "easily"..That was what I was talking about. So, if I misunderstood, at least I'm man enough to apologize for that. I don't make things up, I have no reason to, and I try not to make assumptions..so use your sarcasm on someone else.
Winning? I'm not in a game..Think we were trying to give someone some opinions, (which were asked for), on what our take was on HIM towing a particular 5er with HIS truck.
This was your first post on the topic
"Weight Police,
Allthough I think you are right this time, you made a lot of assumption that have not been valid for years. Not only is the 1/2.. 3//4 and 1 ton meaninglless. 150/1500 etc are misleading.
I have a 1500 with a payload rating of 2,090 pounds and over 3,000 pounds of capacity on the OEM tires and axle. I can easilly pull/haul the subject 5er.
We really need details before giving absolute advice. "
You started off with name calling, yes name calling, then "schooled" us on the useless 1/2 ton thru 1 ton "nomenclatures" being meaningless, (though manufacturers still badge trucks as such).. THEN you agreed with us, while telling us about all the assuming we were doing... but I'll apologize for my part in hijacking this thread.
as stated, haven't seen the OP back, I apologize to him also for hijacking HIS thread.
