weight question
I have a 2011 dodge 1500 quad cab with a 5.7 v-8 hemi set up with a tow package. It is rated to tow 10,050. I'm looking at a 2007 Keystone Copper Canyon 293 sls rated at just at bit over 9000lbs. dry....

And you need to reread this thread, some of you were very specific and were right. Those that spoke of 1/2 ton and 20% on the pin are not always right.
How do you figure knowing your weights isn't "germane"??
If I may be so bold as to ask: What are your CAT scales weights, ie steer axle, drive axle weight of the truck with hitch, full tank of fuel, all family and pets whatever in the truck..Then what is weight with 5er attached, ie, steer axle, then, drive axle weight then...Total weight of combo? pin weight "guesstimation"? Just curious, most would share to prove out facts over assumptions.
Most in here think weights are "germane", especially when someone asked about a specific weight 5er and a specific truck...which we got....Same for a 3/4 ton, 1 ton SRW or 1 ton DRW truck...oops, forgot those numbers don't mean anything any more...my bad...:S
