What lists are you using? RV sales will tell you anything to get a sale!
The weight police will tell you you can't change a payload for a given truck.
So go to a dealer and look at the stickers to get the real deal on the numbers.
If you have read the threads on what a truck can "comfortably" pull, you'll notice a constant theme, "it can pull that trailer but you won't be happy with it" So don't scrimp on the truck. IMO
