If you have read the threads on what a truck can "comfortably" pull, you'll notice a constant theme, "it can pull that trailer but you won't be happy with it" So don't scrimp on the truck. IMO
Actually Factory owner's manuals will give different towing weights for 5ers, and tagalongs. Why? I don't know
