- dpkimmel2001ExplorerNot today but over the weekend. We camped in our new Raptor for the very first time. We spent the entire weekend testing everything that we could to make sure all was operational. We also spent a great deal of time just trying to get everything loaded into this unit. I had no idea that we carried around as much stuff as we did until we unpacked our old 5er. We probably are only going to put in this one half of what we took out of the last one.
- justALnowExplorerWell not today, but Saturday I replaced the fuel pump on my Onan 5500. Pretty simple job, except for the fact that one mounting bolt on the old pump was totally obstructed by the edge of the cut-out in the floor. After considering several options, including removing the entire generator (not), I resigned myself to the fact that I was going to need to take a hole saw to the bottom of my trailer. Once I got my mind around that it was easy.
Added some Pri-G, topped off the tank with some fresh fuel and ran it for about an hour under load. All seems well. - mikakujaExplorerInstalled a couple 6v 225 AH batteries today. My 2005 12v Interstate batteries finally bit the dust..

New filters and oil change on the generator.
And finally did the diamond plate on the rear corners.
Nice job on corners! - 64thunderboltExplorer IIWaiting for mine to come out of the shop after repairs from a blowout.
- 64thunderboltExplorer IIGen sure is handy when the power goes off. I've had to sleep in mine several times and saved a lot of food.

Bought a new fuel pump for the Onan. Might get it put in this weekend, along with renovation projects on the house.
Mostly the TH has been used as "guest quarters" for the last few months, but need to get the gen running before the height of hurricane season.
Now thats funny, not too long ago a member from Florida was talking about how he did NOT need a genny ??
I need to get some fresh fuel for Ours before "earthquake season" :S - jetboater454ExplorerNew filters and oil change on the generator.

Long odds. :R
There has to be a more effective way to sell a rig than playing whack-a-mole with the RV.NET mods.
But its more fun to play "dodge the mods" :W
