What do I need to know - smart car- toy hauler

Husband and I have decided to travel travel work. We know we will need a second vehicle so have been looking at smart cars and toy hauler fifth wheels. Can anyone help with basic specs I need to know ...

I ride a motorcycle so the poo-pooers about "Smart" Cars don't get much traction with me.

My DW's trike weighs 1250lbs and mine is 850lbs - more than a Smart would weigh.

Voltage 3950.
