What do you cionsider the "best" tow vehicle tire?

Replacing the 245/75/16 tires on my 2005 Duramax. I tow a fifth wheeler with a 1700# tongue weight. I am looking to replace the narrow factory wheels (if necessary). What is your opinion on the best t...

IMO, You can mount either 245 or 265's on the stock GM rims without any concerns. Once you start looking at aftermarket rims, pay close attention to the backspace.
The choices of 16" aftermarket rims is getting smaller.
Most manufactures are going 18" plus rims.
I recently went to a 16x8 rims with 4.5 backspace & 265's. Haven't pulled with them let.
I've had the 'fat mans' tires and never a problem.
