What do you cionsider the "best" tow vehicle tire?

Replacing the 245/75/16 tires on my 2005 Duramax. I tow a fifth wheeler with a 1700# tongue weight. I am looking to replace the narrow factory wheels (if necessary). What is your opinion on the best t...

At this point I wish I knew. The OEM Continentals lasted 27000 miles. The replacement Michelins LTX's have 25000 miles on 2 and the other 2 have less as both are replacements for road hazard failures. And the 2 originals have sidewall cracking but the dealer says they are okay ?? They will not make it to 50000 miles even if the sidewalls last. Don't know what will be next so I'll be watching this.
