At this point I wish I knew. The OEM Continentals lasted 27000 miles. The replacement Michelins LTX's have 25000 miles on 2 and the other 2 have less as both are replacements for road hazard failures. And the 2 originals have sidewall cracking but the dealer says they are okay ?? They will not make it to 50000 miles even if the sidewalls last. Don't know what will be next so I'll be watching this.
The OEM Continentals on mine were replaced at 17k due to tread separation on 2 of them. I replaced with Michelin LTX and they were replaced at 66k with a larger tire (65 to 70 cross section) for more capacity, Michelin Defender LTX. When replaced they still had 7/32nd of tread left. I don't know what size tires you have but these are 18". I have seen some with weather cracking but they were 17". Maybe a bad batch? I had no weather cracking over 4 yrs.
